Digital Bomb Calorimeter is utilized for measuring the heat produced by chemical reactions. It is also known as constant volume calorimeter required to measure the heat of combustion. This instrument is comprised of a small sample cup, stainless steel bomb, stirrer, thermometer, insulating container, and an ignition circuit. Digital Bomb Calorimeter works on the principle of measuring heat escaped from the copper tube produced by burning of fuel. This process results in warming of water present outside the tube, and the change in its temperature is measured.
